The dental materials factory of Shanghai Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. A subsidiary of Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group, was founded in June 1947, formerly known as “Shanghai Dental Material Factory” (SDMF) Which is specialized in dental materials production and has a high visibility in dental industry.

“Shangchi” has been graded as a “Shanghai Famous Brand” for 4 continuous times； ever since 1999, “Shangchi” dental materials have been elected as “Shanghai Top Brand Products” for 9 continuous years. Company has passed the ISO13485:2016 certification of TÜV product service GmbH; it has nearly 500 sales outlets and long term cooperated distributors all over the country; also gains well reputation among the foreign customers all of the world.

Through the diligent efforts of over 70 years by over 10 generations of “Shangchi” people，Factory now has focus on dental filling material, root canal treatment, false teeth and denture base material, impression material and dental metal material five main sectors, also dedicated into research and development on new dental material which almost covered the dental application area.
